Six Foot Bay Resort's 18-hole, par-72 golf course sits on the shore of Buckhorn Lake in the Kawartha Lakes region, serving as the centrepiece of a lakeside resort property that also includes cottage-style accommodations and a full-service restaurant. Originally built as a nine-hole layout, the course was expanded to 18 holes by the late 1980s and is now considered one of the more demanding tracks in the Kawarthas, with a tight, tree-lined routing that tests every part of a golfer's game. The resort's name comes from a local story about a Scottish settler who built a six-foot fishing hut on the bay's ice each winter, a tradition the Curve Lake community used to mark the season. A pro shop and gift shop round out the on-site amenities.
