Tucked into the ravine landscape of Scarborough's northeast edge, Cedar Brae Golf Club is a private 18-hole par-71 layout that plays to nearly 6,700 yards from the tips and rewards precise iron play and firm course management. The tree-lined routing uses natural elevation changes and strategic bunkering to challenge members across six tee options, from competitive blue tees down to a relaxed forward configuration. Originally designed by Stanley Thompson and set in the Rouge Valley along the meandering Little Rouge Creek, the club dates to 1922 and has since been reshaped by architects C.E. (Robbie) Robinson, Doug Carrick, Thomas McBroom, and Ian Andrew. Practice facilities include a full-length driving range, a 15,000-square-foot putting and chipping green with a wedge calibration range added in 2023, and three indoor simulators equipped with TrackMan technology, backed by PGA of Canada teaching professionals and a pro shop. Membership is tiered, including junior and intermediate categories, and access is reserved for members and guests.
